Questions

How long does it take to get started?

Most shops are running by the end of the afternoon. Create your account, paste in items and BOMs, and you can start writing build plans and running work orders right away.

Do I have to move all my data over at once?

No. Start with one product line. Axis takes CSV uploads and copy-paste, so you can bring data in piece by piece.

How does inventory consumption work?

When you complete a work order, Axis reads the BOM on the build plan and subtracts the raw materials, then adds the finished good. Quantities are tracked across bins.

Can I keep using QuickBooks for accounting?

Yes. Axis runs the shop floor — inventory, build plans, work orders, projects. It doesn't replace accounting software.

What happens with material requests on the floor?

An operator submits an IHMR, the lead approves, and the warehouse picks against open lots. Every transfer is timestamped and tied to the work order it served.

Can I change seat count later?

Yes. Add seats anytime from billing settings. To reduce seats, deactivate members first.
